No reference. An image of the plant - a CAD layout, a SCADA page - to lay semi-transparent under the
drawing and trace.
Position, in cells
Size, in cells
Rotation, in degrees
X and Y are the corner of the unrotated image; rotation turns about the centre. The fields take
decimals and the arrow keys.
The reference lives only in the SAD file, in the reference key at the end, and goes into no
export: Scada Main, Scada 2.0 and Data Model never see it. Delete the key from the file and it opens
without one.
Commands
Workspace
The language of SAD itself. It is yours, not the plant's: it stays in this browser, and a file
from a colleague does not change it.
They name the exported files: {Code} {Name} - DataModel.sql,
{Name}.Scada.Main.svg and {Code} {Name} - SAD-{date}.json.
In the Data Model they become the customer data: Code goes into the codes, Name into the descriptions.
The language of the words SAD writes by itself in the drawing and in the exports: the standard tag
descriptions, the Panel headings, the labels new tables and buttons start with. What you write stays as
written. Translations live in dictionary.js; a word with no translation stays in English.
Scada 2.0
Blocks added on each side around the zone's items and its Panel: that is the page of the file.
Zones
One file per zone, named as written here (spaces become underscores), all in {Code} {Name} - Scada2.zip,
together with the zones script, {Code} {Name} - Scada2.sql. The list is made of ids and ranges separated by commas,
2A01..2A05,1A01,3C08,SA09: ASI or not, what is listed comes out whole. Every zone needs its Panel;
two zones can share one. The other objects without an ASI come out if the page shows a piece of them, faded if the edge cuts them.
Scada Machines
A sheet is drawn once, with VAR1 in place of the machine's ASI
(VAR1-FT00101, txt_VAR1-PosX) and VAR2, VAR3 for the other items.
Write the variants here, separated by commas, and the values of a variant separated by /:
1AM1, 1BM1, 1CM1 or 1AM1/1AW1, 1BM1/1BW1. The export writes one file per variant,
{Sheet}_{VAR1}.svg; without variants the sheet comes out once. Beside them,
{Code} {Name} - Machines.sql has one block per sheet, with every value of its variants as the ASI list.

Sensors and engines
One tag per line, as in the export ids: the item, a dash and the tag. The item is written without the
trailing 0001 groups (2A01 for 2A01.0001.0001) or in full.
M1-M4 are engines, the rest sensors, with variant and description as in the Details panel;
SKIP leaves a position free.
2A01-M1, 2A01-FT00101, 2A01.0002-PR01601:Up Lift Up side A
Replace deletes the engines and sensors of every item and puts in those listed: an item that is not listed is left without.
Sheet sensors
One per line, in the order you will place them: the item, a dash and the tag, then the variant after the colon
(Up, Down) and the description after a space. The item is written without the trailing
0001 groups or in full. M1-M4 are engines.
2A01-FT00101, 2A01-PR01601:Up Lift Up side A, 2A01-M1
Apply replaces the sheet's list. Sensors already placed take the variant and description
of their line; those no longer in the list stay on the sheet.
